All-cash offers crushing first-time homebuyers
Fri Jan 24, 2014
This is old news already, it's been like this since Jan. 2013 and earlier! We didnt even bother putting offers on some since we knew they would be sold instantly. Heck we were putting offers on houses without even getting to look at them first, just to get our foot in the door to look at …
Colorado's legal recreational pot industry off to smoking start
Wed Jan 1, 2014
Will be interesting to see, how it affect people's memory and their willingness to learn new things, it definitely doesn't help that, and they'll be like "it's just on the tip of my tounge but I can't remember!" Better hope you don't have to do a drug test for your new job! Ain't gonna pass that! …
Why milk prices could soar to $8
Wed Dec 4, 2013
Old news, they bring up this article every year and it's the same hysteria of 8$ gal milk.. They just create an extension and nothing happens. Just like when something else goes up, people buy less of it..

Government shutdown costs home-buying family $10,000
Mon Oct 14, 2013
That's funny, now they can't afford the furniture that they promised their kids, are you kidding? Sounds like they have their priorities straight! Noone is forcing them to do anything, so kinda hard to blame the gov't on their decision. FHA is more expensive than a Conventional, if you w …
'Survivors, scrapers:' Why the middle class feels like it just can't get ahead
Tue Sep 17, 2013
Would be curious as to what "standard of living" they are looking to. Around here middle class "standard of living" seems to be about like a 230,000$ house mortgage payment, a 40000$ pickup and 40000$ SUV payments, 30000$ RV camper payment, a fourwheeler payment and a big boat just to sta …
So your kid wants a credit card. What do you do now?
Fri May 17, 2013
Dont think that article is correct insaying adding a teen as an authorized user is going to improve their score. You have to have their name listed on the statement to have their card mean something, otherwise its gonna just be zero credit still.
Task force recommends building new school at site of Sandy Hook massacre
Sat May 11, 2013
I can't believe that it's being torn down either, we really must have too much $$ to spend if we are just tearing down and building stuff again.
Ghost town comes up for air after 25 years under water
Fri May 10, 2013
That's what's gonna happen to New Orleans sometime when something else blows out.
Saturday mail service saved for now, USPS says
Wed Apr 10, 2013
Kinda interesting, looks like the USPS recommends some changing to save $$ but noone wants change in the congress! Looks like maybe just running the USPS into the ground and not having it all is what's going to happen!
